The beginning of the journey.
This was my very first project with UX for the Google Certificate Career program. I learned and began to experiment with the design process: empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test.
My Role:
UX Designer and Researcher. I led the design of this app from conception to completion as an app.
Project Goal:
This project now allows the user to get as much information as they want while choosing the level of how much they would like to interact.
Target Audience:
For those who would like to develop a greater knowledge of art in their local Art Museum.
Key challenges or constraints:
This was my first project that I ever worked on so I did not know what I was getting myself into. The main challenge I faced was becoming familiar with Figma and having everything work to the degree that I wanted. I struggled with making a working prototype. Sometimes the prototype would not have the flow that I intended.
Research study details:
By conducting several interviews, I was able to discover pain points I did not anticipate. The most important KPI that I paid attention to was actual usability. I wanted to have each user to be able to the user journey and complete several different tasks with little to no difficulty
User testing results:
After finding the Pain Points, I would be able to adjust and make my design more intuitive while adding more options for the user to successfully complete all tasks. After reviewing my design I interviewed the same set of people to observe if they could easily perform all the necessary and main tasks.
